Vietnam has officially introduced a nationwide blockchain infrastructure, intended to bolster the country’s expanding array of digital services and tools.
This system, called NDAChain, is engineered to facilitate secure data exchange and transaction validation among individuals, businesses, and government entities.
The development of the system was spearheaded by the National Data Association, with the Ministry of Public Security overseeing its future operations.

NDAChain utilizes both centralized and decentralized architectural components. This hybrid approach is intended to enhance operational resilience, minimizing vulnerability to hacking, performance bottlenecks, and interoperability issues.
At the heart of this infrastructure are 49 validation nodes, maintained by a combination of governmental organizations and prominent private sector companies such as SunGroup, Zalo, Masan, MISA, Sovico, and VNVC.
The network is designed to fulfill two primary objectives. The first is to record and authenticate digital transactions across diverse sectors including governmental administration, financial services, healthcare provision, logistical operations, and educational institutions.
Secondly, it will form the foundation for a digital identity framework known as NDA DID. This system empowers individuals and organizations to securely verify their identities in online interactions, without the necessity of disclosing extraneous personal information.
To facilitate rapid identity verification, the Vietnamese government has also launched the NDAKey mobile application, enabling users to authenticate their credentials in a matter of seconds.
In related news, the Thai Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is currently soliciting public input on potential revisions to regulations concerning individual investments in initial coin offerings (ICOs). Want to know more? Explore the complete story.
