Cryptocurrency mining operation causing noise complaints
A Michigan elementary school is suing the owner of a cryptocurrency mining facility, Odessa Partners, located in Dafter Township, near Sault Ste. Marie, due to the persistent, disruptive noise produced by the operation.

The constant din emanating from the cryptocurrency mining center on Mackinac Trail, approximately seven miles south of Sault Ste. Marie, is described as a piercing, metallic shriek, reminiscent of a swarm of robotic insects buzzing incessantly.
