Despite this setback, the organization maintains its plan to install the statue in 21 locations worldwide.

The sculpture, the work of Italian artist Valentina Picozzi, utilizes stainless steel and corten steel blocks. It features a form representing a figure seated at a computer, designed with a unique optical illusion that renders the figure nearly invisible from head-on.

According to its creators, the concept required eighteen months of development followed by three months for construction. The statue was unveiled in October of 2024 during the Plan B Forum, an annual event centering on blockchain and cryptocurrency discourse.

The statue’s location had been just outside Villa Ciani, a respected convention center in the city.

Recently, Arkham, a firm specializing in blockchain analytics, released an estimate placing Nakamoto’s known crypto assets at a new high. Want the specifics? Find the details here.
