By clicking the “practice” button within the application, users can specify their current language level and learning preferences. Subsequently, Google Translate generates interactive scenarios that require listeners to identify spoken words or encourage users to respond using verbal expressions.
The language practice functionality will be initially launched in a limited form within the Android and iOS versions of the Translate application. It will support English speakers learning either Spanish or French. In addition, Spanish, French, and Portuguese speakers seeking to improve their English skills can benefit from this feature.
Additionally, the Google Translate app features upgraded support for real-time conversations. The software facilitates simultaneous, two-way translations for spoken interactions across more than 70 languages, including Hindi, Arabic, Tamil, Korean, Spanish, and French.
By choosing the “Live Translate” option, individuals can communicate in their native tongue and promptly hear or view translated versions from the other participant’s language.
The enhanced live translation capabilities are currently accessible within the United States, India, and Mexico.
