Bitpanda: Understanding the Fees
Bitpanda aims to provide a clear and understandable breakdown of its commissions and charges. This is designed to accommodate traders of all experience levels and preferred trading styles.
Account Minimum
To begin, the minimum needed to deposit or withdraw using standard currencies is just EUR 10. For actual trading activities, buying or selling any supported asset requires a minimum of EUR 1.00, making it suitable even for those starting with small amounts.
Trading Fees
On average, Bitpanda users will encounter a 1.49% fee when trading cryptocurrencies. This puts their fee structure in a competitive position relative to other platforms facilitating digital currency exchange.
CFD Fees
For certain Contracts for Difference (CFD) positions, Bitpanda waives the initial purchase fee, setting it at 0%. However, when closing these positions, a fee equal to 1% of the return is applied. Also, these positions incur a small daily holding fee of 0.1% on the value held overnight.
Forex Fees
Bitpanda does not currently support trading in foreign exchange (Forex) markets.
Futures Fees
The platform does not facilitate futures trading. Therefore, there are no fees linked to futures contracts on Bitpanda.
Account Fee
Setting up and maintaining a Bitpanda account won’t cost you anything. There are no charges for simply having an active account.
Inactivity Fee
Bitpanda doesn’t penalize users for being inactive. There are no inactivity fees, which is beneficial for those who trade less frequently.
Deposit Fee
Regardless of the payment method you choose, Bitpanda does not levy any deposit fees. Funding your account is free of charge.
Withdrawal Fee
Similarly, Bitpanda doesn’t impose withdrawal fees on any payment option. Cashing out your funds is also free of charge.
Overnight Funding Fee
Generally, Bitpanda does not assess overnight funding fees on positions kept open past market close.
Currency Conversion Fee
Bitpanda does not charge fees for converting between different currencies within the platform.
Guaranteed Stop Order Fee
Bitpanda does not impose any fees when using guaranteed stop orders to manage risk.
