Indomobil Group, a major automotive organization based in Indonesia, has recently revealed
a new partnership with Space and Time. The goal is to create a blockchain-managed
system to support education for more than 50,000 students across Indonesia.
This project by Indomobil Group and Space and Time aims to provide
dependable and verifiable educational pathways and payment systems. The
initiative is designed to modernize education, providing new funding,
access, and accreditation models across Indonesia. By streamlining access
and creating transparency and accountability, they hope to lower or remove
financial obstacles to quality education.
Indomobil Group Fosters Education Powered by Blockchain
As part of this collaborative effort,
Space and Time, known for its decentralized data solutions utilizing blockchain, will
contribute its digital infrastructure and native digital currency, SXT. The
use of SXT will ensure students have direct, verifiable, and seamless access
to quality education. Historically, families without access to traditional
banking resources had to make payments using cash. Often they were forced
to rely on third parties to convert and transfer their funds, creating
unnecessary expense and other limitations.
These earlier transaction systems often caused problems for both schools and
families, and made educational access more complicated. SXT implementation
allows tuition to be transferred on the blockchain, streamlining the process
for both students and their families. The system allows for the secure
verification of trusted and accessible credentials.
The Indomobil Group project removes the need for traditional banking, cash
handling, and intermediaries, positioning Indonesian students at the
forefront of the technological transformation in education. The new process
enhances accessibility, transparency, and the reliability of education.
Notably, those without access to typical financial infrastructure are a
primary beneficiary of this initiative.
Indomobil Group Offers Scalable Education with Transparent Model
Jusak Kertowidjojo, President Director at Indomobil Group, emphasized the
critical importance of education, saying, “Indomobil has long embraced the
concept of creating lasting infrastructure that supports our nation’s
development.” The organization plans to use this alliance to develop a
scalable, efficient, and transparent payment model to reduce complexities
in educational payments.
Nate Holiday, a Co-founder at Space and Time, also spoke to the relevance
of blockchain in creating a credible alternative to conventional systems.
He noted that “All transactions must be verifiable, traceable, and above
all trustworthy, because the data itself is what represents and transfers
the underlying value.”
By combining their resources, Indomobil Group and Space and Time aim to
connect the worlds of blockchain and education, starting in Indonesia.
Both companies are committed to supporting students and revolutionizing the
future of education within developing economies.
