FC 26 Ratings Reveal: Yamal Soars, Salah & Mbappe Reign

The highly anticipated player ratings for EA Sports FC 26 have been officially released, with soccer superstars Mohamed Salah and Kylian Mbappe sharing the spotlight as the game’s top-rated athletes.

Salah and Mbappe lead a group of four players boasting an impressive 91 overall rating in FC 26. They are joined by Aitana Bonmati, the current holder of the Women’s Ballon d’Or, and her Barcelona teammate Alexia Putellas, a former Ballon d’Or recipient. These accolades come after a season where both Spain and Barcelona finished as runners-up in the European Championships and Champions League respectively, marking a season of near-triumphs.

Rodri, after an injury-plagued season, experienced a slight dip in his rating, landing at 90 overall, the same as his Manchester City teammate Erling Haaland. New Manchester City acquisition, Gigi Donnarumma, stands tall as FC 26’s premier goalkeeper, sharing the coveted 89 overall rating with Liverpool’s Alisson and Real Madrid’s Thibaut Courtois.

Lamine Yamal of Barcelona received the most significant boost among the elite players, jumping a remarkable 8 points to achieve an impressive 89 overall rating at just 18 years old. This represents the highest rating ever given to an 18-year-old. However, Wayne Rooney achieved a 93 rating in FIFA 06. Both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi surpassed Yamal’s current level later in their careers, doing so in FIFA 06 and FIFA 09, respectively.

Alessia Russo, the English striker from Arsenal, who has enjoyed continental success, also sees a substantial rise, gaining 4 points to reach 89. Furthermore, Mariona, another Arsenal forward, has emerged from her former Barcelona teammates’ shadow following her transfer last summer, also achieving an 89 rating.

Achraf Hakimi, a Champions League winner with his club, has expertly filled the void at full-back left by Theo Hernandez’s move to Saudi Arabia, boasting a new +5 overall rating of 89. Raphinha’s dynamic creativity has been acknowledged with a well-deserved 89 rating, placing him on par with his fellow countryman, Vinicius Junior.

The official FC 26 ratings are revealed shortly after EA Sports announced a series of new Icons and Heroes for the game, featuring fan-favorites like Francesco Totti, Andres Iniesta, and the recently retired Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
