The “Game Night” event took place at the Gameorama Spielmuseum in Luzern, serving as a highlight of the welcome week activities for students attending the University of Lucerne, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, and PH Luzern. The two-day program featured an educational segment focused on imparting basic knowledge of cryptocurrencies and decentralized finance, followed by an extensive gaming session incorporating virtual reality, board games, card games, and classic arcade entertainment.

ESN Luzern acts as the local branch of the Erasmus Student Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the integration of international students in Switzerland. Looking ahead, the partnership will continue to expand with a planned workshop on “DeFi 2.0 & The Rise of Real-World Assets” at the HSLU Informatik & Wirtschaft. This session will delve deeper into crucial topics within the sector, covering the tokenization of Real-World Assets (RWAs), cross-chain DeFi protocols, the Swiss regulatory environment, and sophisticated yield strategies.
The overarching goal is to extend the university network to other ESN chapters across Europe and to develop a comprehensive curriculum for ongoing cryptocurrency education initiatives.
The alliance with ESN Luzern is part of Bitget’s comprehensive global Blockchain4Youth program, a multi-year initiative dedicated to empowering the next generation with practical blockchain skills.
