Google is rolling out Gemini to all Chrome desktop users in the United States.
The AI assistant is now available on both Windows and macOS systems, provided the user’s preferred language is set to English.
The integrated Gemini feature deciphers complex online content without you ever leaving the Chrome browser. A dedicated icon, placed in the top-right corner, offers instant access to explanations or condensed summaries of the webpage you’re currently viewing.

Furthermore, Gemini’s multi-tab functionality allows it to cross-reference data and generate summaries
drawing from various sources open within your browser.
The new feature boasts seamless integration with familiar Google platforms. You can schedule calendar entries,
locate addresses on Maps, and control videos, all without the hassle of switching between applications or browser
tabs.
The aim is to reduce the need to navigate away from your current webpage when performing commonplace activities.
Another recent enhancement is the addition of AI Mode directly within the Chrome address bar. This powerful tool enables more complex and detailed searches, even allowing follow-up questions to enhance your exploration of a subject.
Chrome will also intelligently suggest related queries based on the content of the page you’re viewing, offering concise
summaries and avenues for continued exploration using AI Mode.
Google recently unveiled Gemini 2.5 Flash Image, an AI model with a focus on images. What functionalities does this new AI offer? Find out more in our in-depth report: Unveiling the Secrets.
