Players step into the shoes of Arran Bruce, a character who feels entitled to inherit his family’s historic estate, Dunshiel House. However, Arran’s father has other plans and has excluded him from the inheritance in favor of Arran’s younger sister. Arran’s solution? His sister must be eliminated. The method of her demise is entirely in your hands.
The game features ten potential weapons, including items like a rope, a candlestick, and even rat poison. Your choice of weapon has a direct impact on which character you’ll attempt to frame for the murder. Servants and other family members could become prime suspects, provided you strategically plant evidence and weave a convincing narrative.
Once Arran’s sister has met her untimely end and a scapegoat is chosen, there’s one final hurdle to overcome. A police inspector arrives to investigate the crime and interrogate Arran. If players fail to maintain consistency in their story, they risk being exposed and facing imprisonment. Multiple endings are possible, and not all of them are favorable for Arran.
