Last Thursday, just fifteen minutes into playing Silent Hill f, a power outage plunged me into darkness. For a minute and a half, I was left contemplating the ominous silhouette of my coat hanging on the door, truly appreciating how eerily quiet my apartment becomes without the fridge humming. I’m planning to give it another shot this weekend, hoping things don’t… intensify. To change things up, I’ll also be exploring Eclipsium, another horror game, possibly even more experimental, with lots of big-eyed ladies in caves.

My wife and I are in the midst of setting up our new house, a feat we accomplished after an excruciating eight-month process. Therefore, the next few weekends will be consumed by transporting boxes, painting walls, and battling spiders in our tiny cellar, which eerily resembles a dungeon crawl from an old video game. I’m considering putting a sticker on the cellar door that says “Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord“, but my wife may not approve of that…

I’m still dedicating time to Silksong for work, but I’m finally finding some time for old favorites like Satisfactory. We’re close to finishing the final phase of our project, and things are getting a bit messy as we rush toward the finish line. It’s spaghetti everywhere! I’m also enjoying spending time in Endless Legend 2; the UI, as always, is a work of art.

Surely I’m nearing the end of Silksong. Wait, there’s still loads to go. Oh my goodness. So much.

This weekend, I intend to complete “No, I’m not a Human,” whose mysterious atmosphere I’ve found compelling. Besides that, some sim racing could be in order, considering that both Assetto Corsa EVO and Raceroom received significant updates this week, introducing new vehicles and other enhancements. I may also spend some time experimenting with BeamNG Drive if I feel up to it.
