Great news for Lego race car enthusiasts and Formula 1 devotees! The highly sought-after, Amazon-exclusive 10-in-1 collection that vanished from shelves shortly after its debut earlier this year is back. The Lego Speed Champions: Ultimate Formula 1 Collector’s Pack has been unexpectedly restocked after a six-month absence. This comprehensive set, initially launched in March, assembles all ten Lego Speed Champions F1 vehicles, complemented by a special poster. This ultimate collector’s item, featuring 2,601 pieces, retails for $270 and includes ten officially licensed race cars, ten Lego minifigures, a unique poster, and a sizable display case.
The bundle’s initial availability was brief, selling out within weeks of its release. Before this month’s Amazon restock, its return seemed unlikely. It appears Amazon reserved a limited supply for the holiday shopping season. Furthermore, Amazon is offering discounts on numerous other Formula 1 Lego sets across different product lines.
$270 | Amazon Exclusive
While Lego has a history of releasing individual Formula 1 models, this year marked an expanded partnership. In addition to the 10 Speed Champions cars, the collaboration extended to Lego City playsets, new Technic display models, and even a “minifigure” featuring 12 miniature F1 cars.
This year’s Lego Speed Champions F1 lineup showcases iconic race cars from renowned manufacturers like Aston Martin, Mercedes, McLaren, Ferrari, and Williams Racing. These miniature racers measure approximately 8 inches in length and 3 inches in width, comprising between 242 and 269 pieces each.
Below, you’ll find a complete list of the ten cars included in the Ultimate Formula 1 Collector’s Pack. Each set is also available for individual purchase at a retail price of $27. As a bonus, purchasing each set individually currently amounts to approximately $242, thanks to Amazon’s slight discounts on several of the cars.
Ultimate Formula 1 Collector’s Pack:
For those seeking even smaller Lego F1 race cars, the miniature collection is currently on sale at both Amazon and Walmart. These mystery boxes, containing six cars each, are available for just $20, down from the usual $30. With a total of twelve cars to collect, each box holds six unique models. Keep in mind that purchasing multiple boxes increases the likelihood of receiving duplicates.
More Lego Speed Champions F1 Cars
The Ultimate Collector Pack is not the first Amazon exclusive for Lego Formula 1. Last year, Amazon was the exclusive retailer for the McLaren Racing Pack. This special combined Speed Champions and Technic bundle includes two cars and 697 pieces. Although officially retired, Amazon still has the McLaren Racing Pack in stock for $77. The McLaren Speed Champions F1 car included in the bundle can also be purchased separately for $23. Note that the Technic car included is Formula E, not F1, and it is currently on sale for $40 (originally $50) at Amazon. Both models in this bundle are pull-back cars.
While not strictly Formula 1, the Lego Speed Champions Mercedes-AMG sports car and SUV bundle deserves a mention. This 808-piece Speed Champions bundle is currently available for just $30.59.
Lego Technic Formula 1 Sets

For a different style of small-scale F1 model, consider the Lego Technic Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance Pull-Back Race Car, priced at $21.55 (down from $27). A larger display model version of this same car is also available for $209 (previously $220). Currently, the best deal on a larger F1 Lego set is the 1,432-piece McLaren Formula 1 2022, now priced at $160 (reduced from $200).
Lego City Formula 1 Sets

Earlier this year, Lego unveiled five Formula 1 playsets tailored for younger racing enthusiasts as part of its Lego City series. Pick up the 86-piece McLaren Race Car for just $8 (originally $13), or grab a two-car bundle featuring Williams Racing & Haas Race Cars for $16 (down from $20). The latter is targeted towards preschoolers aged four and above. Another standout choice is the 322-piece Pit Stop & Pit Crew set, available for $24 (previously $30). This playset includes a Ferrari race car, an interactive pit stop area, five minifigures, and a variety of interchangeable accessories.
Lego Icons Formula 1 Sets
Several iconic Formula 1 drivers and their celebrated race cars have been honored with their own Lego Icons sets. Own a minifigure of the Brazilian racing legend Ayrton Senna and his McLaren MP4/4 are available in a 693-piece display model for $64 (originally $80). Add a minifigure of the British driver Nigel Mansell and a Williams Racing FW114B F1 car, offered for $80 within a 799-piece set.
