Leading Bitcoin mining organization, Bitdeer, has unveiled its latest innovation: the Sealminer A3 series mining equipment, boasting enhanced energy efficiency and quieter operation compared to previous models.
The Sealminer A3 line, developed internally by Bitdeer, includes four distinct versions categorized by their cooling systems: air-cooled and liquid-cooled.
According to company representatives, these fresh models maintain the signature low-noise profile of earlier Sealminer products, while simultaneously achieving notable improvements in energy consumption per unit of hashrate.
Highlighting the A3 series is the Sealminer A3 Pro Hydro, a high-performance machine delivering a hashrate of 660 TH/s with an energy efficiency of 12.5 J/TH.
Bitdeer emphasized that the new equipment signifies a significant advancement in mining efficiency, translating to reduced operating expenses for miners. The increased hashrate also allows for superior support of extensive mining facilities.
Headquartered in Singapore, Bitdeer manages a sizable fleet of 175,000 Bitcoin mining machines.
The company operates six facilities with a combined power capacity of 896MW. These sites are located in strategic regions, including Texas, Tennessee, and Washington within the United States, Molde and Tydal in Norway, and Gedu, Bhutan.
Earlier this year, in February, Bitdeer secured a 101MW natural gas power generation project in Canada for $21.7 million, planning to establish a 99MW Bitcoin mining center. Furthermore, in April, the corporation acquired 40MW of liquid-cooled Bitcoin mining containers from Saiheat.
Other companies are also active in this space. Bitmain and MicroBT manufacture and sell various mining rigs, while Block Inc., under Jack Dorsey, recently revealed its entry into the hardware market with plans to enhance existing Bitcoin mining rig technology.
