Exciting times for Genshin Impact players! Today marks the beginning of Phase 2 for the expansive Luna I Update (formerly known as Version 6.0). Additionally, the game commences its 5th-anniversary celebration, commemorating its original release on September 28th, 2020.
Whether you are a returning player or simply seeking fresh content after completing the Luna I content, now is the perfect opportunity to dive back into the game.
Anniversary events in Genshin Impact are highly anticipated because they offer players rare opportunities to obtain free gacha pulls, notably Intertwined Fates, which are crucial for acquiring characters from limited-time banners. HoYoverse usually gifts these pulls only twice a year, making the anniversary a special occasion.
The 5th Anniversary Celebration, entitled “Rainbow’s End: Silvery Flux”, presents a compelling reason to log in. Players will receive 1,600 Primogems via in-game mail. Furthermore, an event will grant 10 Intertwined Fate pulls, along with character and artifact leveling resources, as well as Mora, simply for logging in for at least seven days during the next three weeks.
Even more rewards are up for grabs. By completing the Archon Quest within the specified timeframe, players can earn 620 Primogems and unlock Aino for free. Moreover, completing exploration missions during the designated period rewards an additional 400 Primogems.
Another highlight of Phase 2 is the introduction of Flins, a highly anticipated character revealed through numerous teasers. Flins is a 5-Star Polearm user, known for his powerful Lunar-Charged strikes. Players can customize his playstyle to focus on delivering massive damage in a single blow or distribute it among smaller, frequent attacks. Flins is also an excellent companion for exploring the new Nod-Krai region.
