Here’s what’s up: Yooka-Replaylee rocks, and this adventure is chock-full of collectibles. If you’re aiming for 100% completion, prepare to snag over a thousand items!

Among these goodies are pirate treasures, with only five scattered throughout the game. These precious skulls are hidden, one per main level.

The low number might fool you: these golden skulls are among the trickiest to find. If you’re stuck on where to find them, relax. This guide is exactly what you need.

Collecting all five unlocks the “Skele Tour” achievement/trophy, essential for completionists chasing that Platinum. So, keep reading for the locations!

Each treasure is a gleaming, golden skull, making it easier to identify across different levels.

#1 – Tribalstack Tropics

First stop: Tribalstack Tropics, the introductory world. Check out the map above. Look for the marker pointing to the back of that huge structure with a tunnel at the bottom. Head there.

Yooka-Replaylee

Scan the building’s side and you’ll notice some suspicious wooden boxes about halfway up. Use the shrubs on the left for a boost, charge up a Superjump (L2), and glide towards the crates. A quick spin attack will smash them open.

Behind those boxes, your first golden skull awaits!

#2 – Glitterglaze Glacier

Yooka-Replaylee

Glitterglaze Glacier’s treasure is likely the easiest to spot. Follow the map to the icy paths and up to the impressive tower guarding the Icymetric Palace. That’s your destination.

About halfway down the tower, look left (if facing the palace) for a ledge. That’s where you’ll find your second shiny prize.

Either carefully drop down/glide from above, or use the cloud box near the Palace entrance to fly safely to the skull.

#3 – Moodymaze Marsh

Yooka-Replaylee

Moving onto Moodymaze Marsh, the obligatory poisonous swamp straight out of Banjo-Kazooie. Use the map to find a structure easily climbable with well-timed Superjumps.

Yooka-Replaylee

You’ll discover pirate treasure number three at the very top of the highest smokestack.

Use a Buddy Slam on the smaller smokestacks to create updrafts, simplifying your climbs and glides.
