In addition, Chris Dixon, managing partner at the well-known venture capital firm a16z Crypto, also shared his thoughts on X, stating that this legislation aims to “safeguard decentralization, empower developers, and provide entrepreneurs with a fair opportunity.”

“While the bill isn’t flawless and improvements are essential prior to its enactment, it’s critical that we advance the CLARITY Act now to ensure the U.S. remains the premier destination for future developments in crypto,” he remarked in his post.

The Digital Chamber, a leading lobbying group for cryptocurrency in the U.S., released a statement expressing its ongoing support for the Senate’s process as revisions to the bill are made.

“No matter the outcome of tomorrow’s markup, we will actively participate at every stage to influence a final version that benefits our members, innovators, and consumers in the U.S.,” the statement read.

Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple, also voiced his support for the bill on X, describing it as “a significant advancement in creating practical frameworks for cryptocurrency while ensuring consumer protection. Ripple (and I) understand the value of clarity over chaos, and the success of this bill signifies success for the cryptocurrency sector.”
