Bitcoin’s quarterly price growth has reached its highest mark in the past nine years.
Data from CoinGlass, as of October 1, reveals that Bitcoin recorded a 42.71% return in the recent quarter, making it the best performance since 2017, when it surged by 80.41%. This figure is nearly seven times higher than last year’s meager 6.31% return.
Most of this quarter’s increase can be attributed to August, which saw gains of 24.95%. July saw a rise of 7.36%, while September contributed 6.33% to the overall total.

In the same period, Ethereum achieved a 70.8% price increase, with monthly gains of 18.5% in July, 32.53% in August, and 8.77% in September.
As for market prices, CoinMarketCap reports that Bitcoin was trading in the vicinity of $84,000 and Ethereum around $2,700 as of October 1.
