The announcement impacts all trading pairs including BLAST/KRW, BLAST/BTC, and BLAST/USDT. The warning will be in effect until the third week of October, specifically from October 12 to October 16.

Is BLAST Facing a Potential Delisting?

Upbit’s announcement does not mean that BLAST has been permanently removed from the trading platform. The exchange has the option to lift the warning following its review, prolong the evaluation period, or ultimately cease support for BLAST trading.

Upbit has clearly indicated that if the concerns linked to the warning remain unresolved, a delisting could occur. Should this happen, Upbit will provide a separate notice regarding the end date of trading support.

In the wake of the warning, it was also noted that BLAST tokens sent to Upbit may not reflect in user accounts and could potentially be unrecoverable. Consequently, the platform has advised users to refrain from making any new deposits of BLAST.

This development comes shortly after the Blast team publicly declared their intention to halt operations due to network maintenance costs surpassing their revenue.
