Currently, the market has reacted positively to the recent decline in Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) and non-farm payroll statistics, both of which are crucial metrics for the Federal Reserve in shaping its monetary policy. This underperformance in economic indicators has alleviated some of the pressure on the US central bank to implement further interest rate hikes.
Additionally, the drop in 10-year Treasury yields alongside the uptrend in global stock markets has bolstered investor interest in riskier assets.
Altcoins on the Rise!
The increase in Bitcoin’s value has also positively impacted several major cryptocurrencies. Among them, Dogecoin emerged prominently with a surge of over 3%, while cryptocurrencies such as XRP, BNB, and Zcash (ZEC) experienced gains ranging from 1% to 2%.
Both Ethereum (ETH) and HYPE reported modest increases, while Solana and TRON remained relatively stable in their trading patterns.
When Might Bitcoin Achieve a New High?
An analyst known as Killa, who has amassed over 200,000 followers on the X platform, has speculated that Bitcoin may reach its next record high by 2027.
In a recent analysis, he pointed out that Bitcoin’s market cycles have become shorter compared to previous years. The data he shared indicated that the formation of market bottoms in 2022 and 2026 occurred more swiftly than in earlier cycles.
This trend suggests a faster recovery process for Bitcoin’s market cycles. The sooner formation of cycle bottoms may indicate that the upcoming bull market could commence earlier than past cycles.
The analyst estimates that Bitcoin could break its previous all-time high sometime between May and July 2027, with a possibility of the peak occurring by early August 2027. Notably, he gained recognition for accurately predicting the peak of the Bitcoin bull market in May 2025. However, he cautioned that this projection is an analysis of market trends and should not be regarded as a definitive investment target.
