In the last 24 hours, the cryptocurrency market has experienced a downturn, with Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP all losing value. Ethereum was particularly impacted after breaching a significant trendline, leaving all three assets hovering around critical support levels that will dictate their next moves.
Current Price Overview
- Bitcoin BTCUSD: $83,285, a decline of 3.3% in the last day
- Ethereum
ETHUSD: $2,571, down by 5.3%
- XRP: $1.44, a decrease of 4.5%
- Solana
SOLUSD: $116.39, down 3.3%
- BNB: $767.80, down 2.1%
Bitcoin: Uptrend Remains, but Sellers are Active
According to one expert, Bitcoin has closed three weekly and one monthly candles above its 50-week moving average, a threshold that has served as a support line during previous bull cycles. It is also maintaining its May high close to $83,000.
However, the short-term outlook is less encouraging. The analyst noted that recent price increases have been met with selling pressure, indicating that sellers are becoming more dominant.
Key Bitcoin Levels:
- Support: $81,600 to $82,930. Bitcoin is currently trading just above this range.
- Resistance: $85,000 to $87,000. A breakthrough in this area is essential for confirming the next upward movement.
- Upside Objectives: $88,600 and $92,200
- Safety Net: $63,326 to $74,800 in case support fails. The analyst emphasized this is “not a target,” but a critical area to monitor should a deeper pullback occur.
Ethereum: Decline from Rising Triangle
Ethereum experienced the largest drop among the three cryptocurrencies. The analyst pointed out that ETH fell from a rising triangle after it lost support between $2,690 to $2,700, with sellers quickly driving the price down to around $2,560.
“As long as ETH remains below the broken trendline, I anticipate continued downward pressure,” he stated, noting that the price reaction around $2,550 to $2,560 will be crucial for the upcoming move.
Additionally, Tom Lee indicated that BitMine would halt ETH purchases once it possesses 5% of Ethereum’s overall supply, a significant shift from this major corporate buyer.
XRP: Trading Within Support, Bottom Not Confirmed
XRP is trading at $1.44, situated within its short-term support zone of $1.32 to $1.49. An analyst remarked that XRP has “significant room for further decline” within this range and may drop more before any rebound occurs.
Despite this, the overall structure appears promising. XRP has been forming higher lows since August, a trend it did not follow through the end of 2025 and much of 2026.
XRP Levels:
- Short-Term Support: $1.32 to $1.49
- Main Support: $1.10 to $1.37. The outlook remains intact as long as this zone holds.
- Initial Indication of a Low: a rise above $1.56
- Primary Resistance: $1.66 to $1.67, where XRP faced rejection on August 22 and September 22
- Target Zone: $2.14 to $2.99
- Long-Term Goal: around $11, a milestone that may require more time to achieve
