As November begins, Bitcoin is valued at $78,050 after experiencing a 7.3% decline in October, marking its second consecutive losing October, and it remains 38.1% lower than its peak value.
On October 30, Bitcoin spot ETFs faced outflows of $643 million, the most significant single-day exit since June, bringing total assets down to $98.1 billion.
The upcoming November 3 Binance reserve report and the MSCI decision set for November 11 may trigger Bitcoin to drop below $76,141.

At the start of November 2026, Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) is navigating a tough landscape following an October marked by a 7.3% drop, its second consecutive downturn that follows a 4% decrease in October 2025. This trend complicates any forecasting for Bitcoin’s price in November amidst its traditionally strong history.
Currently, Bitcoin is priced at $78,050 and has seen a slight increase of 0.7% in the last 24 hours. It reached $86,489 on October 4 before dropping to a low of $76,141 on October 30, coinciding with Binance’s temporary pause on withdrawals amid security concerns. This places Bitcoin’s value 38.1% below its highest recorded price of $126,080 from October 6, 2025.

Bitcoin Commences November Below Key Averages

At this price, Bitcoin holds a market capitalization of about $1.57 trillion, positioning it as the largest cryptocurrency by market cap. It constitutes roughly 60% of the overall cryptocurrency market, which means its price fluctuations have a substantial effect on other digital currencies.
Nonetheless, the past year hasn’t been easy for Bitcoin investors. Over the past year, it has dipped by 29.1% and is down 10.9% year-to-date. However, in the last 90 days, Bitcoin has seen a rebound of 23%, bouncing back from a low closing price of $58,566 on June 30, marking its lowest point in the past year.

Resistance is appearing as sellers have consistently acted around the $79,107 mark, which is just 1.4% above the current price. For Bitcoin to signal a trend shift, it needs to break through its 20-day average at $81,022 and its 50-day average at $81,906. Presently, Bitcoin is trading below both averages, indicating a seller-dominated short-term trend.
On a brighter note, the long-term outlook is optimistic, as the 200-day average stands at $73,136, which is still 6.3% lower than the current value. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index, measuring investor sentiment on a scale from 0 to 100, is neutral at 46.
Bitcoin’s Trading Patterns in November Following a Down October

Statistically, November has generally favored Bitcoin, although there have been exceptions. The average gain during this month hovers around 38%, heavily influenced by an extraordinary 404% surge in November 2013. However, when considering median figures, the gain is a more modest 8.8%.
Following a declining October, Bitcoin has seen mixed results in the November that follows. After a downturn in October 2018, Bitcoin fell by 36.8% in November of that year. Similarly, following a 4% decrease in October 2025, it dropped 17.5% in the subsequent November. The only positive instance occurred in November 2014, when Bitcoin rebounded by 17.1% after an October decline.
Impact of ETF Outflows, Binance, and MSCI on Bitcoin in November

Major recent developments are likely to shape Bitcoin’s path this November. Spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced outflows of $643 million on October 30, which is the highest one-day drop since June. During that week, investors withdrew $203 million from these funds, reducing total net assets to $98.1 billion.
Net inflows peaked near $58 billion on October 21 but fell to about $57 billion by October 30, coinciding with Bitcoin’s 30-day low.
The recent security breach at Binance, termed the largest theft in crypto history by TRM Labs, casts uncertainty in the market. While Binance claims it will compensate affected users and provide proof of reserves, investors are keenly awaiting the report due on November 3. A favorable report may bolster confidence; however, any inconsistencies or delays could further compromise trust and adversely impact Bitcoin’s price.
Another important development is MSCI’s (NYSE:MSCI) upcoming decision on November 11 regarding whether to exclude Strategy Inc. (NASDAQ:MSTR) from its global equity indices under new eligibility criteria starting November 30. This company finances its Bitcoin acquisitions by selling shares; thus, removal from MSCI could impede its ability to buy Bitcoin and further amplify market pressure.
Bitcoin’s Potential Trading Range: $76,000 to $82,000 in November
Maksim Safaniuk / Shutterstock.com
Traders are closely monitoring Bitcoin’s low point of $76,141 on October 30 as a crucial indicator for November’s trends. If the price remains above this threshold, Bitcoin might trade between $76,000 and $82,000, while still underperforming relative to its 20-day and 50-day averages, particularly if negative ETF trends persist alongside the waiting game for Binance and MSCI outcomes.
In a bearish outlook, closing below $76,141 could redirect buyers’ attention towards the August 23 low of $75,538, then further support around $74,900 from mid-September, and possibly down to the 200-day average at $73,136. Significant outflows akin to those witnessed on October 30, an unsatisfactory Binance report, or MSCI’s decision to exclude Strategy could drive the price down to the $75,000 target that bearish investors are eyeing.
On the flip side, for a bullish scenario, Bitcoin must first bypass resistance at $79,107 and secure a close above the 50-day average at $81,906. If successful, Bitcoin could aim to regain its previous peak closure of $86,489 from October 4. Positive inflow days will be vital for propelling this upward momentum.
Forecasting Bitcoin Prices: Potential Closure by November 30
Bitcoin holders should keep an eye on two significant dates this November that might affect the currency’s price: The Binance reserve report set for November 3 and the MSCI decision on Strategy due November 11. If Bitcoin concludes a day below $76,141, it might reflect patterns seen in November 2018 and 2025, where it fell by 36.8% and 17.5%, respectively.
Looking ahead at our five-year Bitcoin forecast, extending to 2031, if Bitcoin remains above $76,141 after these pivotal dates, it is likely to finish November somewhere between $76,000 and $82,000. This result would place it below the 50-day average but above its October lows.
