One particularly engaging activity involves exploring the Ripper Drill Sites. Reminiscent of the arena battles found in previous entries, these locations pit you against escalating waves of adversaries, culminating in a showdown with a formidable boss.
Let’s uncover the precise locations of each Ripper Drill Site within Borderlands 4, along with the rewards they hold.
The Pitted Stain
Idolator’s Noose – The Fadefields
First up is The Pitted Stain Ripper Drill Site. It’s situated in the southwestern corner of the Idolator’s Noose region within The Fadefields.
Follow the road southward until you reach Racketrun. From there, you can jump off the cliff, landing directly at the Drill Site.
After surviving the enemy onslaught, you’ll face the Foundry Freaks boss, a multi-boss encounter, so prepare accordingly.
The Prospects
Hungering Pain – The Fadefields
The Prospects Ripper Drill Site awaits in the upper region of Hungering Pain, still within The Fadefields. Specifically, look to the east of Horace’s Oversight and northeast of The Flarewell.
A suggested path involves heading southeast from The Launchpad and then veering north, bypassing The Flarewell. This route offers a more direct approach to The Prospects.
Victorious players will contend with Sidney Pointylegs, a boss notorious for dropping the Noisy Cricket.
Saw’s Clench
Ruined Sumplands – Carcadia Burn
Entering Carcadia Burn, our first Ripper Drill Site is Saw’s Clench, located in the northern reaches of the Ruined Sumplands. This Drill Site is nestled within the cliffs north of the Judgement’s Lapse Order Silo.
A convenient approach involves fast-traveling to the Wildhorn’s Beard Safehouse and proceeding southwest. The road curves around the cliffs, leading directly to the Drill Site, where you can challenge the Rippa Roadbirds boss after overcoming the initial wave of enemies.
Tendercage
Lopside – Carcadia Burn
The second Carcadia Burn Ripper Drill Site, Tendercage, resides in the northeastern section of Lopside, bordering the Grindstone of the Worthy.
This Ripper Drill Site is conveniently located below the rails leading to Dominion City, just outside the city walls. For an easy journey, teleport to the Makeshift Chalet Safehouse and proceed eastward.
After clearing the area, you’ll face Pango Bango, a dual-boss encounter, so proceed with caution.
The Old Scrape
Cuspid Climb – Terminus Range
Welcome to Terminus Range, also known as the location of the Augur Mines. This region houses two Ripper Drill Sites, beginning with The Old Scrape in the southeastern part of Cuspid Climb.
The Old Scrape Drill Site can be easily accessed by heading south from The Reliquary Order Silo towards the edge of the Cuspid Climb area. The drill site is in a boneyard that’s easy to see on the map.
After you have successfully cleared the mobs you will fight the Meathead Riders as the boss.
The Lowering March
Stoneblood Forest – Terminus Range
The final Ripper Drill Site in Borderlands 4 is The Lowering March, positioned in the central region of the Stoneblood Forest, within Terminus Range. For convenient access, traveling to the Snowy Wells Safehouse and heading north is recommended.
With an upgraded glider, you can jump and glide virtually all the way from the Safehouse to the Drill Site. After vanquishing all enemies in the area, the Battle Wagon awaits – a colossal creature ridden by Rippers.
