A new Nintendo Switch bundle featuring Pokemon Legends is poised to take the place of the Mario Kart World Edition package. This Mario Kart package was always intended as a limited-run promotion, slated to conclude sometime this fall. While the precise date the Mario Kart Switch deal will disappear is unknown, its likely departure will coincide with the arrival of the Pokemon Legends package at retailers on October 16.
Similar to the departing Mario Kart bundle, this new offering provides cost savings compared to purchasing the $450 console and the $70 game individually. Consumers will effectively save $20 by choosing the bundle option. A key difference, however, is that unlike Mario Kart World, Pokemon Legends is not exclusively for the Switch 2. The game can also be enjoyed on the original Nintendo Switch for $60.
