After reaching a high around $4,800, Ethereum (ETH) appears to be undergoing a price correction. Signals of declining momentum have been observed since July. A decrease in trading volume compared to earlier upward price movements hints at weakening market strength. Traders are carefully monitoring the 26-day exponential moving average (EMA) as a crucial support level. A strong bounce before touching this level would reinforce a positive outlook, whereas a drop below it might indicate further selling pressure. Should ETH fail to hold above the 26 EMA, the subsequent key support areas lie around the 50 EMA and near the $4,000 level. If the 26 EMA is decisively broken, additional downside risk is present.
Meanwhile, Shiba Inu (SHIB) faces the potential for further price declines following several weeks of consolidation within an ascending triangle pattern. The token is currently trading near the lower edge of this formation, and its struggle to generate significant upward movement suggests increasing negative sentiment. Recent daily chart activity reveals SHIB repeatedly testing its support line without a breakout, undermining the normally positive implications of the pattern. A breakdown below the triangle’s support line could trigger a faster drop toward levels unseen since the beginning of summer, with the price potentially experiencing a significant percentage decrease. The absence of robust support zones at current prices and limited whale activity increase the probability of a sharp downturn.
XRP is also exhibiting signs of weakness as it nears a pivotal point. The asset has been unable to sustain upward movement beyond $3, placing the 50-day EMA under strain. Although this level has previously provided temporary support, the current price behavior suggests it may not hold for much longer. If XRP falls below the 50 EMA, the next notable support levels would be in the $2.70–$2.75 range and around $2.40, which aligns with the 200 EMA. A breakdown at these levels could erase recent gains and expose the token to a retest of the $2.00 level. Despite the recent bearish price action, trading volume suggests sellers lack conviction, leaving room for a potential rebound, but only if XRP can rally above $3 with strong buying interest.
Amidst the market’s uncertainty, Coldware (COLD) has emerged as an interesting alternative for investors seeking exposure to real-world applications of blockchain technology. The project has garnered interest from Ethereum and Sui holders who are diversifying their investments by participating in Coldware’s presale. Coldware’s strategy involves combining Web3-integrated hardware, on-device NFT marketplaces, and secure access to DeFi, offering a comprehensive user experience that sets it apart from standard Layer-1 projects. For Ethereum holders, who have benefited from ETF inflows and increased institutional interest, Coldware offers an avenue into the physical integration of blockchain, an area not directly addressed by ETH itself.
Coldware’s attraction is also appealing to Sui investors, who view the project as a link between high-performance blockchain infrastructure and practical, real-world uses. The presale has been boosted by expectations of a listing on a major (Tier 1) exchange, which could serve as a catalyst for wider retail adoption. Strategic partnerships with telecommunications and blockchain companies, coupled with a well-defined development plan, have positioned Coldware as a potential hardware-focused disruptor in the Web3 landscape. As the project gets closer to its listing, early investors are preparing for a liquidity event that could resemble some of the most significant market rallies observed in the past.
