Anchorage Digital announced the debut of its innovative platform designed for creating stablecoins, signaling its entry into the realm of facilitating authorized, U.S.-based stablecoin offerings. The firm revealed a collaborative agreement with Ethena, the organization behind the USDtb synthetic dollar token, as its inaugural customer.

Formerly offered outside the United States, USDtb is now poised to become accessible within the nation, operating under the guidelines established by the newly enacted GENIUS Act. This act, approved by President Donald Trump, provides explicit legal guidelines for digital tokens linked to fiat currencies. This development allows Anchorage to produce USDtb within its operating territory while adhering to U.S. financial regulations. The move intends to deliver a fully compliant ecosystem for the deployment of stablecoins, meeting the criteria of conventional financial entities.
