As we edge closer to the conclusion of 2025, Diablo 4 is currently in the initial phase of its final season for this year. While details regarding Season 10 have been circulating for some time, the identity of one particular element remained a mystery until recently.

Specifically, the last collaborative event planned for Season 10. Blizzard Entertainment has now officially revealed the intellectual property that will be merging with the Diablo 4 universe.

The development roadmap for Diablo 4 outlined two crossover events. The first involved Berserk, and now the second, and purportedly final, collaboration has been formally unveiled. This time, the crossover draws from within Blizzard’s own catalog, featuring StarCraft. The event commences tonight and will be active until October 10th.

Interestingly, this collaboration does not introduce any new gameplay mechanics or a separate battle pass-style reward system. The forces of StarCraft will not be invading the world of Sanctuary. Instead, the focus is primarily on offering a range of premium cosmetic items, a strategy that proved successful previously.

Players who are willing to spend money can acquire StarCraft-themed cosmetic enhancements for each of the Diablo 4 character classes. These skins allow players to transform their characters into iconic figures such as the Queen of Blades (Kerrigan), Arcturus Mengsk, Zagara, Jim Raynor, Tassadar, or Zeratul.

Additionally, a mount bundle will be available, enabling players to ride a Zergling or acquire a unique Zerg pet. Pricing details for these items have not yet been disclosed, but individual skins are anticipated to cost approximately $20 or more.

A selection of free items will also be available in the in-game store, comprising three emblems and three weapon skins for the mace, two-handed polearm, and two-handed crossbow. These free items will be distributed daily, beginning today and running until September 28th. Players will have the opportunity to claim these gifts throughout the entire duration of the event.

Coinciding with the main event, a Twitch Drops campaign will run from September 26th to October 10th. Viewers watching any Diablo 4 streamer on Twitch (who has enabled Drops) can earn three emblems. The first emblem is awarded after two hours of viewing, the second after four hours, and the third after accumulating six hours of watch time within the specified period.

In conclusion, this event primarily focuses on cosmetic additions. Hopefully, future crossover events in Diablo 4 will incorporate more engaging and immersive elements.
