Finn emerged victorious against contenders Gr3g and X:md96178. Their winning offer totaled 6.8 BTC, translating to approximately $792,696 at the time of the auction.

He publicly shared that funding originated from a token associated with his platform, known as Buy the Hat, supplemented by his individual financial resources. Finn asserts that this acquisition is intended to solidify the hat’s connection to the Dogwifhat collective.
Upon securing the winning bid, Finn communicated via a message on X suggesting the possibility of “modifying the metadata” of the associated token. Additionally, he incorporated the hat image into the Bags logo, alluding to impending updates.
The handcrafted item was created by Achi’s caretaker during their residence in South Korea. A photograph of Achi modeling the hat was captured shortly after the Shiba Inu’s birth in 2018. This very image ultimately evolved into the visual identity of Dogwifhat, a meme-driven cryptocurrency existing on the Solana
On August 8th, Achi’s caretaker expressed their congratulations to Finn via X. Their message conveyed that the hat has transcended individual communities and chains to become a symbol. They added, “We hope it grants you and all those around you the same fortune, enjoyment, and synchronicity it has provided us.”
