As planned, Krafton has officially launched Island Getaway, the much-anticipated downloadable content (DLC) package for the life simulation game, inZOI. Initial details regarding this expansion were first revealed back in July, when the development team publicly announced its unveiling at Gamescom.
Subsequently, the official launch date was confirmed, indicating that attending Gamescom in person wasn’t a prerequisite for experiencing the new content. The Island Getaway DLC became available starting today, August 20th.
Island Getaway is now accessible for free to all inZOI players. This DLC is integrated within a larger game update, identified as version 0.3.0, which delivers diverse quality improvements and enhancements. The update marks the arrival of inZOI to the Mac OS platform.
The Island Getaway DLC introduces an entirely new playable area called Cahaya. This region is composed of two distinct islands, drawing inspiration from Southeast Asian environments. This influence is reflected in both the newly introduced activities and character outfits.
Lifestyle-focused activities such as farming, fishing, and mining are key additions in this release. Furthermore, players gain access to vehicles, significantly enhancing travel speed and convenience.
