The individuals who spearheaded the Samourai Wallet venture, Keonne Rodriguez and William Lonergan Hill, are preparing to enter guilty pleas in a New York court session.
Official court documents filed on July 29 indicate that both men are scheduled to appear before a judge on July 30 to formally revise their initial pleas of not guilty.
Back in April 2024, the duo asserted their innocence following accusations leveled by U.S. federal prosecutors. The accusations center around their alleged operation of a crypto mixing service that handled over $2 billion in illicit transactions, with some transactions reportedly linked to dark web marketplaces such as Silk Road.
