A patch is on the horizon for
Hollow Knight: Silksong, with Team Cherry announcing adjustments aimed at improving the overall player experience. The update, slated for release next week, includes changes designed to alleviate some of the difficulty for players.
While the primary focus of the patch is on addressing bugs, Team Cherry noted in a
Steam post
that it will also introduce “minor balancing tweaks” in the game’s initial stages.
Specifically, the difficulty level of the Moorwing and Sister Splinter boss encounters will be “slightly reduced.” Furthermore, the damage output of Sandcarver enemies will also see a decrease.
In addition to enemy adjustments, Team Cherry is also refining the rosary bead economy within
Silksong. Players can anticipate increased rosary bead rewards for completing courier tasks, discovering relics, and obtaining psalm cylinders. Conversely, the prices at Bellway and Bell Benches will be moderately lowered.
“Assuming no unforeseen problems arise, we plan to roll out the patch to all players by the middle of next week,” Team Cherry stated. For PC gamers eager to test the changes sooner, the update is immediately accessible through the public-beta branch on both Steam and
GOG.
