Go Nintendo) offer a glimpse into Nintendo’s employee statistics. The most recent report, covering April 2024 to March 2025, includes data from Nintendo branches across Japan, the Americas, Europe, and Australia.
The statistics reveal that the full-time workforce increased by 148 employees in Japan, 165 in the Americas, and 56 in Europe.
Nintendo Australia experienced a slight reduction, with a decrease of three employees.
Regarding employee tenure, Nintendo Japan boasts an impressive average of 14.4 years, while Nintendo of America reports 10 years, Europe stands at 11.1 years, and Australia registers 8.5 years.
The report also indicates differences in tenure between genders, with men staying longer than women on average.
Not only do employees tend to remain at Nintendo for extended periods, but the company also benefits from remarkably low turnover rates.
In Japan, the turnover rate is a mere 1.9%, while in America it’s 5.7%, Europe 6%, and Australia sees a significantly higher rate of 16.7%.
