• Nexo has secured partnerships with half a dozen major golf competitions slated for the DP World Tour in the year 2025.
  • The Nexo Championship follows a visit to Bulgaria by Donald Trump Jr. in April of 2025, an event sponsored by Nexo.

The grand opening of the Trump International Golf Links in Aberdeen, Scotland, was recently celebrated by former U.S. President Donald Trump. This course is set to host the upcoming Nexo Championship, scheduled from August 7th to 10th. Nexo co-founders Antoni Trenchev and Kosta Kantchev were in attendance, along with Scotland’s First Minister, John Swinney, and various influential figures from the worlds of politics, business, and global sports organizations.

The co-founders of Nexo enjoyed a luncheon with President Trump, where they discussed the future of athletics, breakthroughs in technology, and the growing importance of digital finance in tomorrow’s global economy.

According to a statement by Antoni Trenchev, co-founder of Nexo:

“The new Trump International Golf Links in Scotland, future host of the Nexo Championship from August 7th to 10th, was officially opened by President Trump. It was a privilege to share lunch and discuss politics, as well as our common vision for cryptocurrency in the U.S., with the President after a round of golf. We are truly grateful for his dedication to everyone, everywhere.”

Prior to the Nexo Championship announcement, Donald Trump Jr. visited Bulgaria in April 2025 on a trip sponsored by Nexo. During this visit, Nexo revealed its plans to re-enter the United States market.

Nexo is proud to be an official partner for six major DP World Tour events in 2025.
