Graham’s departure from RPS is approaching, and he’s requested a low-key send-off for his last “What Are We Playing This Weekend” (WAWAPTW) feature. Fittingly, with a Friday afternoon deadline looming, we’ll keep it simple and focus on the weekend’s gaming plans. Let’s hold the heartfelt goodbyes for a later date and jump straight into what everyone’s diving into this weekend.

Edwin
Under the weather this week, so I’m planning a relaxing weekend. I’m revisiting “L.A. Confidential” after many years. Also, I’m feeling drawn back to the original “Thief” game. The City’s atmosphere and its peculiar cults hold a strong appeal. Alternatively, perhaps I’ll venture into “Deadly Shadows” and explore the Shalebridge Cradle.

James
I should be immersed in “Killing Floor 3” for a review, but I’m experiencing a bit of headshot burnout. As a change of pace, I find myself surprisingly interested in “Wheel World”. Though I don’t cycle in real life, the idea of controlling a speedy mechanical contraption is much more appealing when it removes the risk of traffic collisions.

Ollie
His whereabouts are currently unknown, but he’s probably around here somewhere.

Nic
I’ll be spending quality time with my cat. Video games are… not great. I might reluctantly play some “Total War: Warhammer 3,” but I doubt I’ll enjoy it.

Jeremy
My gaming routine remains consistent. I’m playing “Final Fantasy XII” on my Steam Deck before bed (still enjoying the customizable Gambit system), “Gotham Knights” during lunch breaks or after work (enjoying playing as Red Hood, but I might switch to Batgirl soon), and “Wuchang: Fallen Feathers,” which requires dedicated focus during work hours (don’t forget to check out our boss guide). Three simultaneous games are my limit, and I’m only managing this because playing “Wuchang” is part of my job. My gaming time is segmented by device and obligation (work/leisure) in order to squeeze everything in. Does anyone else use a similar approach?

Brendy
Probably spending time with Ollie? Possibly?

Graham This is my final WAWAPTW as I’m leaving RPS this Wednesday. So, here’s my final, lasting entry: I have no concrete idea what I’ll be playing this weekend; I usually decide spontaneously when I turn on my computer. (Except for Dune: Imperium, which is always in the rotation.) I admire those of you who have more structured gaming habits, and I’ll continue to read your posts with interest each week. Goodbye!

And now, dear reader, what games will you be playing this weekend?…

Share.
