Another week has vanished into the abyss, fueling the endless wait for Silksong’s arrival. However, let’s be honest, at this point, such pronouncements ring hollow.

Instead, here’s a peek at the games consuming our weekend!

Edwin
Fun fact: Edwin Evans-Thirlwell can be rearranged to spell “Well Shrill Devil Newt.” Enjoy that little nugget of information.

James
Before diving headfirst into the Gamescom frenzy, I’m planning a nostalgic visit to Team Fortress 2. It’s my go-to comfort game before the hype machine (or as our German friends might say, der hypen blenderen) completely overwhelms me.

Jeremy
With the Wuchang saga concluded, I’m happily returning to my relaxing playthroughs of Final Fantasy XII and Gotham Knights. Off-screen, I’m also diving back into my wife and brother-in-laws’ Pathfinder campaign this Saturday, which has been on pause for five long months due to scheduling conflicts! *Cracks knuckles* Time to refresh my memory of what transpired way back in March and then improvise some Game Master wizardry on the spot.

Mark
I’m on the cusp of entering Dogtown in my heavily modified Cyberpunk engineer playthrough. Who knows what adventures await? Well, I do, technically, since this is my fourth time around, but let’s be real, some details are bound to have escaped my less-than-perfect memory over the years. So, if you hear rumors of dogs running wild on Monday, you know who’s to blame. Plus, I might spend some time cruising around with Mafia: The Old Country’s first-person driving mod. Surely there are some epic jumps hidden amidst all those Italian farms and old guys named Ettore.

Nic
My hunch is that Nic is likely orchestrating a massive clash between opposing forces of Rhinos, Arclights, and Steel Balls. Pure speculation, of course.

Ollie
We’ve constructed a truly impressive mall in our Satisfactory save, if I may say so myself. From an aesthetic point of view, it is our most elaborate build yet, even though it’s more of a central distribution hub for our extensive train network than an actual factory. Each train’s chaotic cargo is meticulously sorted by a complex network of splitters, funneling it onto the appropriate conveyor belts. Order is achieved from chaos through sheer, iterative logic. I’m thoroughly enjoying it.

And what about you, valued reader? What virtual worlds will you be exploring this weekend?…
