Did the week just vanish? It feels like it did! Time sure flies. Let’s cut to the chase, it’s Friday and the weekend is here. Don’t delay, find out what games we’re diving into today, because before you know it, it’ll be years from now!
Edwin
I’m thinking of returning to the world of Hell Is Us this weekend. I received some insightful comments regarding my article on the game, and I want to further explore my initial thoughts, especially its depiction of internal conflicts. Beyond that, I’ll be spending quality time with my partner, enjoying simple things like cooking, tidying up, and soaking up the sunshine.
Nic
Nic will eventually wander through the rain. And one day, Nic will dine on a tree frog.

This weekend’s game of choice is… get ready for it… Silksong! It’s a perfectly enjoyable Metroidvania, but I’ve never understood the mechanic of needing to purchase an item just to view your location on the map. Furthermore, more Metroidvania titles should take inspiration from Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and allow players to capture screenshots and place them on the map to indicate blocked pathways or hidden secrets that are currently inaccessible. Now that is a useful in-game item I’d gladly spend resources on.
Ollie
It sounds like silk wrong.
James
I’m also engrossed in Silksong, but my energy is depleted from playing so much Silksong that I can’t even make a joke.
Mark
Someone has to resist the Silksong hype and play a different title released this week. Therefore, I’m continuing my annual tradition of checking out the latest NBA game from 2K. Is it a ball-to-basket thing or the reverse? I don’t know, but I will spend this weekend trying to look past the constant promotion of virtual currency. I want to find out if the latest edition does enough to stand out from the previous versions.
And you, dear reader, what will you be playing this weekend?…
