Greetings, keen-eyed observers! My apologies, I seem to have failed once again in concealing a cheerful face within the header image of our weekly weekend gaming plans. However, I’ve mischievously inserted a few upside-down frowns into the playful descriptions of my absent colleagues below.

For those of us who were present during the compilation of this Friday’s gaming schedule, here’s a glimpse into our weekend activities.

James

Perhaps some “Jump Space” is on the agenda? I’ve explored this chaotic space crew simulator with both human companions and the witty robot assistant that assists with firefighting when solo. The robot consistently outperformed my friends in every aspect of the game. I’m uncertain how to convey this to them, or if future interactions are advisable.

Nic

Nic stares blankly, methodically peeling apples at his rustic cottage table nestled in the enchanting woods. His expression remains as steadfast as the surrounding mountains. But what’s this? The apple peel in his hands has spontaneously formed a joyous grin.

Ollie

What other words have a similar sound to “Silksong“? I am running out of ideas…

Jeremy

Jeremy’s face is difficult to discern as he glides up and down the playground on his skateboard. He grabs the fizzy apple juice from your hand at the peak of the ramp. On the descent, he pulls the tab, creating a golden, smiling arc in the air with the spray.

Mark

A sleepy Mark opens a kitchen cabinet and is bombarded by a cascade of apples. Stumbling backward, he unintentionally throws open the refrigerator door, leading to a second avalanche of apples. A knock at the front door. Mark opens it to find a postwoman cheerfully dumping a bag of apples over his head.

Edwin

My weekend will involve a mix of “Endless Legend 2” and, potentially, more “Silksong,” along with reading an unexpected “Mass Effect” spin-off novel for a podcast (I won’t mention which to prevent jinxing it, but it is run by old friends). Also, yes, I am still trying to find ways to use up about 100 apples; it’s rather obvious.

And what about you, dear reader? What games will you be immersed in this weekend?
