The week at RPS has been, shall we say, unique. However, the gaming never stops. The games must go on! What else is there, really?

I’ve been itching to dive into S.p.l.i.t, that unsettling command-line experience created by the mind behind Buckshot Roulette. Accomplishing that would bring me satisfaction. Perhaps not outright joy, especially considering Nic’s perspective. But definitely a sense of fulfillment.
Jeremy
This weekend, I’ll be back at it, battling the frustrating bosses in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. Some of those fights have devoured hours of my time! These Soulslike games make me feel ancient. But, the game’s compelling, and our guide coverage isn’t finished, so I’m committed to persevering. And if I find some extra time, I’ll continue my laid-back explorations of Final Fantasy XII and Gotham Knights, which are a refreshing change of pace.

Wheel World turned out to be exactly what I needed: a sparkling, cheerful racer that’s both stimulating and comforting. I echo Brendan’s assessment of the soundtrack’s high quality. Although, I must admit I recently misused it by playing the entire thing during a slow, gas-guzzling drive through London. My apologies. Please don’t send any spectral cyclists after me.

Barring the unexpected arrival of a pigeon carrying alternative plans, I plan to dedicate my free time this weekend, somewhere in a Yorkshire field, to continuing my Cyberpunk 2077 playthrough. I’m finally taking full advantage of the edgerunner perks that CD Projekt introduced with Phantom Liberty, installing more cyberware than you’d see on a reality TV show about customizing cars. Bionic knees, lightning-shooting weapons, an arm-mounted missile launcher – the whole technological shebang. Just don’t ask my character to pass through airport security.
