The world of Monster Hunter Wilds is currently experiencing a crossover with a popular online RPG, thanks to its latest game update. This collaboration introduces a formidable new challenge: Omega Planetes, who now roams the game’s dangerous regions.

Hunters who successfully overcome this threat will be rewarded with a host of themed treasures, drawing inspiration from the crossover universe.

Among these rewards is the charming Morbol Seedling armor for your Palico. If you’re aiming to outfit your furry friend with this adorable gear, this guide details how to obtain and create the Morbol Seedling armor in Monster Hunter Wilds.

How to Earn the Morbol Seedling Palico Armor in Monster Hunter Wilds

The Morbol Seedling Palico costume, resembling a miniature version of the iconic Malboro creature, is available as part of the collaboration event.

To unlock this adorable set for your Palico, take on the special mission provided by Alma after installing the latest game update. This mission unfolds in two parts: first, complete “A Peak Predicament,” followed by “Invader From the Stars.”

The second part of the quest requires you to triumph over the standard Omega Planetes, either alone or with a group of fellow hunters. Preparation is key, as this monster presents a significant challenge within the game.

After successfully hunting Omega Planetes and claiming your rewards, the Morbol Seedling set will automatically become available in the Palico Gear section at the Smithy.

Crafting the Morbol Seedling Palico Armor in Monster Hunter Wilds

Monster Hunter Wilds Morbol Seedling Craft Menu

While unlocking the Morbol Seedling set requires defeating Omega Planetes, crafting it requires specific materials from monsters. Some of these are shared with the hunter’s armor, known as Bane armor.

Thankfully, the Palico set doesn’t need too many hard to get materials! This set is made up of three parts: a chest piece, a head piece, and a weapon.

In total, you will need the following materials to make each part:

Twinflight Butterflies (Weapon)

  • Omega Data 1.0 x 1
  • Omega Pedal x 1

Morbol Seedling Head (Head Piece)

  • Omega Data 1.0 x 2
  • Omega Screw x 2

Morbol Seedling Body (Chest Piece)

  • Omega Data 1.0 x 2
  • Omega Screw x 2

Keep in mind that this set, similar to certain other Palico outfits, functions as an all-in-one costume. This means the head and chest piece must be worn at the same time.

You don’t need to stress about missing the armor, as like the past crossover events, it is a permanent addition to the game!
