Ali Martinez believes XRP could hit $60 if it achieves a monthly close above $3.66, confirming a long-standing ascending triangle pattern.
-
For XRP to break above $3.66, it would need to increase by about 158% from its current value of $1.42, while reaching $60 would entail more than a 4,100% rise.

Achieving a $60 valuation would correspond to a market capitalization of nearly $3.76 trillion based on current supply figures.
According to analyst Ali Martinez, XRP has the potential to surge to $60 if it successfully navigates a resistance level that has held steady for nearly a decade.
Martinez noted the formation of a significant ascending triangle on XRP’s monthly chart, asserting that this pattern has formed over the past ten years, with the upper boundary approximately at $3.66, marking a pivotal point for bullish momentum.
“XRP BULL MARKET TARGET: $60,” stated Martinez. “XRP has been shaping this large ascending triangle on its monthly chart for nearly ten years.”
However, he emphasized that merely touching or briefly surpassing $3.66 would not suffice to validate the pattern.
“The key resistance point is $3.66,” Martinez explained. “A monthly close above this would confirm the breakout and possibly trigger a target towards $60.”
XRP Must First Rally 158% to Reach $3.66
Currently, XRP is valued at approximately $1.42, which is significantly below the target price necessary for Martinez’s forecast.
To hit the $3.66 benchmark, the token would need to jump about 158%. To reach $60 from its current price, it would need to see an increase of more than 4,100%.
Patterns like ascending triangles typically develop when an asset has higher lows while struggling to surpass a horizontal resistance level.
Such breakouts are often interpreted by traders as signals to continue buying, with potential targets computed from the height of the pattern.
It’s important to note, however, that chart predictions are not definitive. XRP will have to surpass several intermediate resistance points before reaching $3.66, and Martinez hasn’t specified a timeline for this potential movement.
Thus, his analysis should be interpreted as a conditional long-term perspective rather than an outright prediction that XRP will touch $60 this year.
XRP Would Be Worth Nearly $3.8 Trillion
The potential market cap showcases the staggering nature of Martinez’s predictions.
Currently, XRP has around 62.74 billion tokens available. If valued at $60 each, its market cap could soar to roughly $3.76 trillion, compared to $89 billion at its current price of $1.42.
Such a market cap would necessitate a massive influx of capital, although it’s important to remember that market capitalization doesn’t equate directly to the total investment.
