The advice to “never sell your bitcoin” was not directed at businesses, he clarified.

Michael Saylor, the co-founder, former CEO, and current Chairman of the largest corporate bitcoin holder, shared his thoughts following the company’s announcement of its third BTC sale in recent months.

He reiterated a familiar mantra: “Never sell your bitcoin,” but emphasized that this message is aimed at “savers.”

Saylor confirmed that he has personally never sold any bitcoin, noting that Strategy is a public entity, “not just my personal portfolio.”

“Since 2020, the company has made it clear that it may buy or sell BTC for capital management. Our strong belief in Bitcoin remains steadfast.”

Recently, Strategy sold another 1,638 BTC, adding to the 3,588 units it sold at the end of June.

The funds were also utilized to buy back more of its own STRC shares, contributing to an increase in the asset’s value, which has risen to $92. Despite this growth, it remains slightly behind its issue price of $100, having quickly recovered from recent lows of $75.
