The leaders of prominent companies including Coinbase, Ripple, Gemini, Robinhood, Polymarket, and Kalshi are part of the Innovation Advisory Committee at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Before their inaugural committee meeting scheduled for Thursday, these crypto executives will convene at the White House, as reported by unnamed sources who indicated that Trump plans to be present.
This meeting, set to take place at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building adjacent to the White House, aims to kick off discussions on policy in key sectors driving U.S. innovation. It is also expected that CFTC Chairman Mike Selig and various advisors will be in attendance, with additional reports suggesting that Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick might join as well.
