Analysts are increasingly optimistic that ETH might surpass the $2,000 mark shortly.

In July, the second-largest cryptocurrency experienced a notable success, with its value increasing by 18.5%.

Numerous market watchers predict even stronger upward momentum, potentially benefiting the entire altcoin market.

Future Goals for ETH

Last month, the cryptocurrency made multiple attempts to break through the significant $2,000 barrier, currently trading around $1,850. X user Ted has focused on this key level, suggesting a surge to $2K if this zone remains stable.

“The presence of spot buying is encouraging,” he noted.

Similarly, Michael van de Poppe shared his insights, stating that if $1,800 is maintained, it could facilitate a breakthrough of the $2,000 threshold, leading to a rapid rise towards $2,300 and beyond.

Conversely, analyst Celal Kucuker believes that ETH displays “one of the strongest charts” he’s observed, envisioning a surge to as high as $13,000 by 2026-2027. Although such a target may seem far-fetched in the context of the ongoing bear market and current pricing, the cryptocurrency sector has previously defied expectations.

According to the X user, the CLARITY Act may expedite this movement. This much-anticipated US legislation aims to establish clear regulations for digital assets, yet its advancement has faltered once more after the White House failed to respond to a significant counterproposal from Senators Thom Tillis and Ruben Gallego.

At the same time, the quantity of ETH held on centralized exchanges remains around a decade low of 15.1 million coins, bolstering the bullish outlook by reducing selling pressure.

Will Altcoins Soar?

Analyst Dami-Defi on X offered a different perspective, indicating that ETH is on the verge of breaking a year-long downtrend, potentially signaling a significant rally and benefiting other altcoins.

X users Cup and Gordon shared their insights, with Cup suggesting that a substantial surge for altcoins is imminent, predicting the biggest breakout of the cycle in the upcoming weeks.

Gordon pointed out that gold and silver have already had their moments, noting that “bonds are cooked” and “stocks are looking weak.” As a result, the focus has shifted to altcoins, as he believes “this is where the most significant gains will occur next.”
