On Monday, Capital B, a leading Bitcoin treasury firm based in France, revealed that it has purchased 376 BTC for €25.3 million (approximately $29.4 million). This transaction represents the firm’s most significant Bitcoin acquisition in the past year.
With this latest purchase, Capital B now holds a total of 3,521 BTC, amassed at an overall cost of €309.4 million (around $359.3 million). This indicates an average acquisition price of €87,878 (approximately $102,058) for each Bitcoin, as stated in the company’s announcement.
The acquisition on Monday also marked the largest Bitcoin transaction for Capital B since September 2025, when the firm purchased 551 BTC, according to their statement. In contrast, just last month, the company only acquired 6 BTC.
The funding for this recent buy came from proceeds from recent capital raises, which included a private placement that generated €28.7 million (approximately $33.3 million). This round featured an additional investment of €7.6 million ($8.8 million) from Adam Back, raising his ownership stake to 17.64%, per the company’s statement.
Capital B, which rebranded from The Blockchain Group in July 2025 to focus on its bitcoin treasury strategy, expressed in June its intention to develop a bitcoin-backed credit product aimed at the European market, inspired by Strategy’s STRC and Strive’s SATA.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin prices remained relatively stable over the last 24 hours, trading at approximately $79,500 on Monday, according to The Block’s BTC price page. The leading cryptocurrency reached a peak of around $81,700 last Thursday before experiencing a pullback.
